TWENTY2X to shine with attractive new formats
Besides more traditional offerings such as lectures and themed summits, TWENTY2X (17 to 19 March 2020) will also feature IT Battles, Best Practice Sessions, Working Lunches and a series of Ideas Workshops – that's four innovative and interactive event formats specifically created for this exciting new B2B digital trade show.11 Nov. 2019
Hannover. "We developed these new formats in partnership with our exhibitors and target visitors," explained Jutta Jakobi, Global Director Digital Business at Deutsche Messe and the executive in charge of TWENTY2X. "TWENTY2X thus offers its visitors a wealth of SME-centric events where they can learn about what digitalization can do for them."
IT Battles: Who has the best solution?
For most IT challenges there is only one solution, but at TWENTY2X, visitors will get to compare several. With the new "IT Battle" format, up to eight exhibitors will present their solutions to a pre-defined challenge in the course of three five-minute rounds. The IT Battles will be held on the Center Stage and will run twice daily – once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Visitors will be able to directly compare the solutions presented and get to know the people behind the solutions. At the end of each battle, the attending visitors will select the best solution by live vote.
Best Practice Sessions: practice-driven and authentic
With the Best Practice Sessions, it's technology users who do most of the talking. Each session is an open, free-ranging dialogue in which users and their solution providers jointly report on their digitalization projects, how they were developed and implemented, and what made them a success. The sessions are given from the user perspective, so they are practice-driven and authentic. Visitors are able to learn about the benefits of the presented IT solutions directly from their users and gain valuable insight into the relationship between user and provider.
Working Lunches: More than just food
Each Working Lunch is a winning mix of business and pleasure in which a TWENTY2X attendee gets to enjoy a free meal while learning about the products and services of their meal's sponsor (exhibitor). The sponsoring exhibitors are free to decide how they present their information. For example, they can demonstrate a product, bring along an expert, gather feedback from their guests, or hold a discussion on a topic of their choosing. Visitor participation in the Working Lunch program is by application.
Platform Economy Ideas Workshops: The new shape of digital interaction
The Ideas Workshops at TWENTY2X are intensive, four-hour sessions on platform business models. For each one, the participants (exhibitors, visitors, experts) gather in a dedicated meeting room and jointly develop pioneering platform-based business models. The workshops are opportunities for the participants to grow their understanding of the principles and workings of the platform economy, how their organizations can benefit from it, and how they can modernize their internal business processes to take advantage of it. Participation is by prior registration.
Speed Dating: New partnership opportunities every five minutes
It's hard to beat speed dating for speed and efficiency when it comes to matching providers and solutions with potential customers and requirements. The Speed Dating program at TWENTY2X is an opportunity for providers from startups and established companies to meet up with prospective users from small and medium-sized firms. Two topic-specific dating sessions will be held in the SME Lounge on each day of the show. Each session is restricted to a maximum of 20 persons (10 providers and 10 users). All participants will bring along and exchange brief pre-prepared written personal/organizational profiles which can then be used for post-session follow-up.
TWENTY2X (17 - 19 March 2020) is a B2B event staged annually for the benefit of SME decision-makers and IT managers attending on behalf of companies based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. TWENTY2X - focusses on the role of IT technologies in facilitating the digitization of SME business processes.
